Autumn-winter 2022/2023 among the birds of Théding:
A new feeder
A new homemade installation for this fall-winter 2022-23 season, with several meals offered in several media: striped sunflower seeds, corn, barley, wheat, oats (basket), striped sunflower seeds (silo), shelled peanuts without salt (mesh silo), dried mealworms (basket), niger seeds (plate or basket), ball of fat (support without net) and water (metal container). (13/11)
Robin
Mostly alone, the robin came regularly. It is the first and the last visitor of the day. (30/11)
9 blue tits simultaneously
Is it Avatar season? There are a lot of blue tits, 9 in this photo! (01/12)
The bickering of the starlings
There is food for everyone, but the starlings regularly argue. The scenes are often fun! (14/12)
European goldfinch
A fence has been put in place to slow down the starlings which come in too many numbers and scare away the sparrows... Some starlings will still find a way to get through. An elegant goldfinch took the opportunity to come and feed. (28/12)
Under the snow
It snowed a lot, but the birds will be able to continue to feed at the feeder (01/21).
Some water
It is important to offer water to the birds, even in winter. It will need to be replaced daily. (25/01)
Eurasian bullfinch
A couple of bullfinches came to visit the feeder. (02/27) The camera position has been slightly revised.
